The say "juice it or lose it" and I really don't want to lose
Sometimes it feels like I don't make any progress and I'm spinning in circles but when I look back, the progress is clearly there. Very often it feels like I spent too much time on the game for what it looks like. And after preparing a new demo build for a small circle of people and receiving a ton of feedback it feels like every time I am starting from scratch. But I don't. The game evolves, yes, but the initial vision is still there and every time it stands out more and more. The idea is being refined and finally it's starting to feel right.
I wanted to be one-man army and prepare ALL of it by myself, the entire vertical slice with level design and preferably good assets. But it turned out I couldn't deliver on all these fronts with quality I feel obligated to in my very core. So, for the last months I focused on the core of The Force - a fight. And while there is still more to do, it feels like I'm on the right path now.
Here, check out this short video and tell me what you think about it. There are a ton of things I want to show you in the next weeks so consider following the project, it would mean a world to me.
